Headache Management in Boston

We understand how debilitating chronic headaches can be. That’s why we established The Greater Boston Headache Center at Boston Advanced Medicine in March 2012. Under the guidance of Egilius L.H. Spierings, MD, PhD, Victor Wang, MD, PhD and Lee Silk, MD, Boston Advanced Medicine offers a highly regarded, comprehensive treatment program which treats all types of head pain. We want to help residents in the greater Boston area get relief from chronic headaches. 

We treat patients of all ages and genders, and understand the impact that head pain has on all patients. We have specialized treatment for headaches in women, whether they are teens, expecting moms, undergoing hormone fluctuations, or experiencing everyday stress.

We have been recognized as the only pain management specialty practice in Massachusetts by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). We have built a team of neurologists, pain management specialists, anesthesiologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, and pharmacists, who work together to offer you with the best options for relief.

When you come see us for headaches, we will first give you an extensive customized assessment which includes a health history, migraine and headache disability assessment testing, migraine diaries, and a psycho-social questionnaire. We want to understand how your headaches are presenting themselves and how we can best help you get relief.
