Neurocognitive Assessment Specialist
With over 40 years’ experience as a chiropractor, Donald Counihan Jr., DC, CWCE served as Director of Functional Rehabilitation and Physical Assessment at Boston PainCare’s location in Waltham, Massachusetts. As a National Board of Chiropractic Examiners certified chiropractor, Dr. Counihan works with MedVadis Research as a Physical and Neurocognitive Assessment Specialist.
Dr. Counihan graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, the first chiropractic school in the world. He later worked in private practice in the Chicago area until joining the Boston PainCare team, dedicating his skill and knowledge to helping patients do more than just manage their chronic pain.
Dr. Counihan has spent countless hours lecturing and instructing other organizations about the importance of continuing medical education. For his own extended training, he is a certified work capacity evaluator and is also certified in Psychometric Neurocognitive Assessments.
