Lee Silk, MD

A founding partner of Boston Advanced Medicine, Lee Silk, MD, is a board-certified interventional pain specialist and anesthesiologist. He is also certified in Psychometric Neurocognitive Assessments.

Dr. Silk graduated from the University of Massachusetts where he majored in biology, and earned a medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 1993. He finished his residency in internal medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and worked as a primary care physician in private practice before completing his residency in anesthesia at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston in 2001.

After serving as a staff anesthesiologist and clinical instructor in medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital from 2001-2004, Dr. Silk worked as an anesthesiologist at Greater Boston Anesthesia Associates. He also served as chief of anesthesia at Milton Hospital in Milton, Massachusetts, until 2008, when he began practicing full time at Boston Advanced Medicine.

Dr. Silk uses the latest advances in medicine to help patients reach the pain-free life they desire. He stays up to date with his advanced credentialing and is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.
